In existing fixed bed systems with wire mesh on grating, the wire mesh must be replaced frequently. A superior solution, when the underlying grating remains serviceable, is to replace the wire mesh with a Wedge Wire overlay grid. Most grids are supplied in sections for installation through manways. |
