Wedge Wire screens are manufactured by helically wrapping a continuous triangular wire around parallel support rods. Each intersection of wire and rod is fusion welded. The result is a screen of superior strength and open area. The continuous (un-interrupted) slot opens inwardly so that clogging is virtually eliminated. |
